Never have open sites. People live in campground for years. No shade.
Open lot camping no shade. Cement pad, water, electric, sewer and limited wifi. Nice bathhouse. Dump station was built on the wrong side of a one way road, but shouldn't be a problem as there is a sewer at all sites. The camp ground is usually full. Open to military.
Nice clean USAF facility ungated not on Hurlbut Field Proper outside the back gate approximatly .8 miles. Concret pads with adj half pad for parking additional vehicles. No shade but base did plant numerous sappling trees between pads recently take time to grow into any shade. Attendent on duty 9am-3pm monday thru friday after hours thru Hurlburt Outdoor Rec. Can stay up to 180 days consec. Then have to leave for 10 calander days prior to return. Allowed to remain another additional 180 days and required to leave for 14 calander days. There are no reservations only priority is where you rank parking in the overflow if park is full. Your RV has to be onsite in overflow to get next departure spot if full. There are actually 2 open spots this date. So previous above review us incorect about people living here for years. Construction on additional pads is under bidding process. Wal Mart, Lowes, Commisary are 5 min away from park. Both 30 and 50 amp avail on all pads. Very conenient location other than 20 drive to one of the better beaches here. Eglin AFB is 12 miles east which also has a larger on base park. Same rules apply execpt they have no overflow policy. Presently summer rate us $425 per 30 days and winter is $450 per 30 days, not a calender month billing. Bathrooms are clean and prices are very reasonable, especially monthly rates. The camp also has coin laundry that is convenient and updated. Very pet friendly area!
Camp is fairly new, no shade. Although the spaces are spread out pretty good, nothing separates the site but grass. We moved in the beginning of June and staying till November (120 max). Nice and quiet. We're happy.
